The Three-Phase Approach
The Koch Leadership Experience
-
I meet leaders in motion. Whether you're stepping into a bigger role, navigating uncertainty, or seeking your next evolution, I offer you a space to reflect, recalibrate, and lead with greater presence and clarity. This is trusted counsel at pivotal moments.
-
Quietly. Intentionally. In partnership. Every engagement is bespoke. I listen first. We align around what matters. And we move at the speed of trust, pacing the work to meet your reality, not someone else’s template
-
I believe leadership is relational. That trust is built, not assumed. I believe in conscious leadership, personal growth, and having a space to think clearly. Every leader deserves a trusted guide and a personal boardroom where the stakes are understood and the support is real.
-
I don’t deliver boilerplate coaching plans or scripted playbooks. I don’t overpromise. I listen. I’m not here for optics or ego. I don’t coach to check a box. I coach for impact.
This is not performance coaching. It’s not about hacks, scripts, or stagecraft. It’s about becoming the kind of leader people trust.
That’s why I’m here.

“Other coaches focused only on my job description. Bill focused on who I am as a person. That humanistic approach, combined with his structured system, was the game-changer.”

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Most sessions take place over Zoom, allowing for consistent touchpoints no matter where you're located.
-
Yes. I'm based in Dallas, so in-person meetings here are easy to coordinate. I also travel to meet clients on-site in other cities. If in-person connection is important to you, we’ll discuss that in our chemistry call and see what’s possible.
-
It’s entirely personalized. Early on, sessions are often weekly as we debrief assessment instruments, I gather 360° feedback, we develop the action plan, and establish momentum. Over time, we adjust the cadence to match your needs as you are implementing and practicing new behaviors and experiencing greater impact.
-
Coaching is a high-trust, high-commitment partnership, which is why we start with a chemistry call to ensure strong alignment from the outset. In over a decade of coaching and hundreds of engagements, I’ve never had a client request a refund. Most re-engage for multiple rounds of coaching because of the value they receive.
If a meeting needs to be rescheduled, just let me know. I understand that life and leadership are unpredictable. That said, part of our work is modeling the kind of accountability and follow-through you want to bring into your own leadership.
-
Both—but not in the way you might expect.
My work blends coaching, mentorship, and peer-level partnership. The balance depends on you: your goals, your level of experience, and what’s most supportive. I may offer guidance based on my own leadership background, but I don’t hand out one-size-fits-all answers.
The goal is always to equip you to make the decision that feels right for your leadership, and your situation.
-
A standard engagement begins with a six-month commitment. That said, many of my clients continue well beyond that. Some have partnered with me for over 8 years.
Why? Because they value having a trusted advisor in their corner: someone who knows their leadership style, understands the business context, and offers seasoned guidance at every inflection point.
I like to say it's like having a personal boardroom: confidential, strategic, and deeply invested in your success.
Even in these arrangements, the relationship needs to be mutual. The chemistry call helps ensure that both the executive and I feel aligned before beginning the work.
-
My clients know they can reach out between sessions, especially when something time-sensitive arises. You’re not waiting three weeks for your next meeting to talk through a board presentation or prepare yourself for a difficult conversation. That’s one of the advantages of keeping my client roster small.
